Guidelines of submission

  • One must register for the meeting before an abstract can be submitted.
  • Language: English
  • Abstract Title: Abstract Titles are limited to 175 characters, including spaces. Titles should be in ALL CAPS. Titles that include a tissue should include the species and type of tissue used.
  • Submission Type: Oral or Poster Each abstract must be submitted as an oral or a poster presentation. If you are not selected for an oral presentation you will automatically be considered for a poster presentation.
    • - Oral: A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations in the concurrent sessions. Oral presentations are limited to 12 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for questions. Abstracts not chosen for oral presentation will automatically be considered for poster presentation.
    • - Poster: Presenters scheduled in poster sessions will be assigned a board to display text and other illustrative material (graphs, charts and tables) for a specific session. Posters will be on display for viewing for one day of the meeting. Presenters will be assigned one hour to be present at their poster to discuss their work with attendees.
  • Presenter: Each abstract may indicate only one presenter. The presenter should be the presenting author.
  • Co-author(s): Each abstract can include a maximum of 24 co-authors.
  • Abstract Text: Abstracts are limited to 2,000 characters, not including spaces. Abstracts must be formatted as one paragraph; those not in compliance will be edited to conform to this format. Abstract text should not include section titles, tables, graphs, charts, diagrams, authors, references or acknowledge funding sources. Please remove any section titles such as Methods; Results; Conclusions although the text of the abstract should include this information.
  • Funding Source: You may choose to include your funding source or specific grant that supports your work; limited to 500 characters, not including spaces.

Review & Notification of result

Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the committee.
Acceptance / rejection of abstracts will be notified to the submitters via email.
